What's new

What's new in AZDAN.

Every release of the AZDAN e-invoicing service, in plain words: what you can do now, what works better and what was fixed. The same notes appear in the Tenant Console.

Version 0.16.1 Latest

Version 0.16.1

Improved

  • The sign-in page's brand panel now takes its colours from the AZDAN palette like the rest of the console, so it stays identical in light and dark.

Version 0.16.0

Version 0.16.0

New

  • Filters open in the same slide-in panel as every record, with Apply and Clear all. Transactions and Invoices filter by Customer from a searchable list of your customers (name and Peppol ID); access-point transactions too. Customers, Items, Transactions and Invoices filter by Company when the account has more than one.

Version 0.15.0

Version 0.15.0

New

  • Every list has a Filters button: status, date range (Today, 7 days, 30 days, This month or your own dates), document type, counterparty and amount on Transactions and Invoices; direction, status and Peppol ID on access-point transactions; type and date on Files; status on Customers, Items, Peppol participants, Users, API keys and Webhooks; actor, outcome and date on Audit log. Active filters show as chips above the list, with Clear all.
  • Filters stay in the page address, so a link or a reload keeps them, and this browser remembers them per page. The count next to a tab or a list always reflects the active filters.

Improved

  • Summary figures on the dashboard, the reports and the company pages use one design: grouped tiles with the value sized to its kind, a reason when a figure is not available, and a link from every count to its list.

Version 0.14.1

Version 0.14.1

Fixed

  • The Inbound tab's count on Transactions, the dashboard's all-time figure and the Volume report's “Received” figures now count the documents that reached you through the access point, which the list already showed. The tab count, the pager and the rows always come from the same filter, and inbound documents can be paged through.
  • When a counterparty is in your Customers with a Peppol ID, its name now shows next to the ID in Transactions.

Version 0.14.0

Version 0.14.0

New

  • Integrations has its own entry in the Developers menu: one page that leads to the NetSuite connection, the developer documentation, the test API, API keys and webhooks.

Improved

  • Company profile starts with an “On this page” row that jumps to the logo, the service agreement and each legal entity.
  • In Arabic, the lists’ own messages (empty list, loading, column and row announcements for screen readers) are now in Arabic too.

Version 0.13.0

Version 0.13.0

Improved

  • The console is set in IBM Plex: Plex Sans for English and Plex Sans Arabic for Arabic, one design with matching weights in both languages, figures that line up in tables, and Plex Mono for identifiers. Headings use the same family instead of a separate serif.

Version 0.12.0

Version 0.12.0

Improved

  • Every page now says which section of the menu it belongs to, in the line above its title and in the top bar, and page titles match the menu: E-invoicing (FTA), Peppol participants, Files and Dashboard are called the same thing everywhere.
  • Peppol participants, Files and the recent-emails list show a proper empty state with a reason when there is nothing to list yet.
  • The console speaks of your account and of Admin users, not of “tenants” and “tenant administrators”.

Fixed

  • E-invoicing (FTA) and Peppol participants no longer show Users and Plan & usage among their tabs; the company record tabs are the Compliance pages only.
  • If a page fails to load, the console now shows a message in your language inside the normal frame, with Try again and a way back to the dashboard, instead of a blank error page.

Version 0.11.0

Version 0.11.0

New

  • Company profile shows where your organisation stands with the AZDAN E-Invoicing Service Agreement: the version accepted, when and by whom, with a link to read the agreement.

Improved

  • Your organisation's record is one set of tabs: Company profile, E-invoicing (FTA), Peppol participants, Users and Plan & usage each show the same strip, so moving between them is one click. A tab your role cannot open is simply not shown.

Version 0.10.0

Version 0.10.0

New

  • The AZDAN E-Invoicing Service Agreement is now part of registering: when you confirm the EmaraTax linking request you read the agreement in full, scrolling to its end, and tick that you accept it before the company is linked. Your acceptance, its version and the time are kept on record.
  • Organisations that have not yet accepted the current agreement see it on their next sign-in: an Admin user accepts it once for the organisation, and other users are told that an administrator has to do so first.
  • The agreement can be read at any time, in English or Arabic, from the link on the acceptance screens.

Version 0.9.0

Version 0.9.0

New

  • Contextual help on every important form field: a small question mark next to the label explains what goes there, whether it is required, what is accepted and an example, in English and Arabic. Hover, tap or press Enter to read it; Escape closes it.
  • A Help Center, from the question mark in the top bar or the account menu: questions and answers on the EmaraTax linkage, your account, invoices and credit notes, customers and items, the company profile, users and roles, and API keys and webhooks, with a search box and every form field's rules listed by section. A hint's “Read more” opens the matching answer.

Improved

  • The guidance states the same rules the platform applies when you save or send: the TIN and TRN formats, Peppol IDs, password rules, the UAE emirate codes, VAT treatments and rates, credit-note reasons, unit codes and the webhook URL policy.

Version 0.8.1

Version 0.8.1

Improved

  • Arabic reads correctly everywhere: company names, amounts, web addresses, Peppol identifiers and codes keep their own order inside Arabic lists, panels and forms, so a trailing full stop or a currency code no longer jumps to the other end.
  • In the Arabic console the row menu opens on its button, the search icon, select arrows, notifications and the sticky actions column sit on the correct side, and the monthly calendar in Reports names its months in Arabic.
  • Change figures in Reports and on the dashboard (▲ +8.7%) and amounts in the invoice list keep Western digits and their order in Arabic, and validation results count warnings in proper Arabic plural forms.

Version 0.8.0

Version 0.8.0

New

  • Webhooks: give each endpoint a name, pick the events it receives from a checklist (or all of them), limit it to one of your companies, and choose the payload version. New webhooks send the version 2 payload: one JSON with the document number, kind, amounts, counterparty, company, Peppol identifiers, the MLS or FTA outcome and the download links. Existing webhooks keep the original payload until you switch them.
  • New events: a document validated or rejected on submission, every transaction status change, the receiver's verdict as MLS accepted or rejected with the reason, and the FTA's answer to a Tax Data Document.
  • Dead letters: events AZDAN could not deliver after every retry are listed on the Webhooks page and in each webhook's panel, and can be requeued one by one or all at once. The delivery history shows the next retry and lets you requeue a failed delivery.
  • Every delivery links to its transaction, and a transaction's panel has a Webhooks tab with the events raised for it and their deliveries.

Improved

  • Rotating a signing secret no longer breaks deliveries: for 24 hours both the new and the previous secret sign every request, so your endpoint can switch without a gap. Deliveries also carry an Idempotency-Key, the webhook id and the payload version.
  • A webhook can be disabled, not only paused. Endpoint addresses must be HTTPS and reachable from the internet; names that resolve to a private address are refused.
  • The webhook developer documentation describes every event type with its legacy name, the delivery headers, the version 2 payload, the retry schedule and the dead-letter queue.

Version 0.7.0

Version 0.7.0

New

  • Change your password from My Profile: enter your current password, the new one twice and the code from your authenticator app. Your other sessions are signed out; this one stays signed in.

Improved

  • Actions that delete, remove, revoke, disable, suspend or sign you out are shown in red, in every list, panel and confirmation, so they are told apart from ordinary actions at a glance.
  • The browser tab says which environment you are on: "Development" on the development console and "Production" on the live one, in your language.

Version 0.6.0

Version 0.6.0

New

  • What's new: open it from the account menu or the sparkle button in the top bar to read the latest release. A small dot shows when there is a release you have not seen yet.
  • A Release History page lists every release, newest first, with what is new, improved and fixed in each.

Improved

  • The console version is shown in the footer of every page; it opens the Release History.

Version 0.5.0

Version 0.5.0

New

  • Upload your company logo on the Company page. It replaces the AZDAN mark in the sidebar at once, and can be replaced or removed at any time.
  • My Profile, from the account menu: your display name, phone number, job title and time zone in one place, with a link to your security settings.
  • A footer on every page with the copyright line and a link to the AZDAN website.

Improved

  • A cleaner sidebar: one brand mark and a small button to collapse it to icons only.
  • The time-zone preference moved from the account menu to My Profile.

Version 0.4.1

Version 0.4.1

Fixed

  • The account menu now closes as soon as you choose a language, an appearance or a time zone.

Version 0.4.0

Version 0.4.0

New

  • The menu is grouped into Overview, Invoicing, Master data, Compliance, Developers and Settings. Each group can be folded, and stays as you left it.
  • Transactions has Outbound and Inbound tabs with a count on each. The chosen tab is part of the page address, so a reload or a shared link opens the same view.

Improved

  • The icon-only sidebar shows every page, with a thin line between groups.

Version 0.3.0

Version 0.3.0

New

  • The dashboard opens with what needs your attention: failed, rejected or stuck documents with the reason, the state of your FTA and Peppol linkage, and any webhook endpoint that needs a look.
  • Choose a period (7, 30 or 90 days, month or year to date) to see volumes, delivery results, your top counterparties and the latest activity. The choice is remembered on this browser.
  • Outbound and inbound documents are shown as two tabs on the dashboard, each with its count, share and change against the previous period.

Improved

  • Dashboard tiles open the Transactions page already filtered to the documents they count.

Version 0.2.0

Version 0.2.0

Improved

  • Pages no longer flash or flicker while you scroll, move between pages or open a side panel.
  • Lists and panels update in place instead of going blank and reappearing.

Fixed

  • Changing your time zone no longer reloads the whole console; only the page content redraws.
